Guideline Career Services is the sister company of Connexions Nottinghamshire providing expert careers advice to adults and direct support to employers interested in developing their workforce to reach full business potential.
We help adults who are unemployed or in work with careers planning and help to find suitable courses or employment opportunities. Our customers include Boots, NHS Trust, Union Learn, Nottingham City Council and a number of local employers. We receive funding for our services from the Learning and Skills Council, Nottinghamshire County Council, Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Lifelong Learning Networks. Our services are delivered in Nottinghamshire, other areas of the East Midlands and overseas.

- Nextstep: we coordinate adult information and advice services delivered throughout the East Midlands. This programme is part of a national approach to delivering careers advice.

- Services for employers: we provide advice and support to employers for business development to increase business profitability and productivity by providing training and development solutions. Guideline Career Services also supports employers to develop systems for business improvement through help with quality systems and process management.
